Why must Poseidon, God of the Sea, hold such a grudge against me. I had to do what I had to do. I just do not understand why he had to concoct that storm. Thank goodness for the goddess Ino. Without her help and her protective veil, who knows what would have happened. Lets hope this river lets me go up it’s coast, so that I can get to safety.

Eighteen Days
Eighteen days and I spot land for the first time. I see Scheria, the land of the Phaeacians, the next stop on my God-made journey. I hope everything goes welll
Thank the Gods
Finally Calypso has come to her senses and has listened to the Gods to release me. She even helped me build a ship and packed it with items from her island home. I am off on my journey home.
Oh Calypso,
In the beginning…
Around ten years after the Trojan War, I am still long away from my kingdom, my wife and son, and my people. I am trapped here, on this forsaken island, taken captive by the goddess Calypso. She has fallen in love with me and will not let me leave the island. All I want to do at this point in time is return to my wife. Oh dear, I do hope everything is okay at home. I pray to the Gods to help me out.
